Carolyn and I have several real advantages that most of you don't have:

  1. I am writing the web page, and
  2. Thanks to Harry Fuller and Gene Fowler, we have a collection of church services that date back to the 1960's.

We retrieved a solo by Morris that he sang, along with the choir, on April 11, 1976, "Were You There," Morris Mote, Tenor Soloist. Remember, these recordings were made, for the most part, without any special microphone placement, so there is background noise and a possibility of some 'WOW' due to variable tape motor speed. Nevertheless, we think you will enjoy hearing him. Carolyn really appreciated his contributions to the choir, both as a faithful member of the tenor section, as well as his frequent contributions as a soloist.

Sent wih love to Morris, a wonderful person, from Carolyn and Lew Helgeson. (Carolyn was Morris' choir director for 27 years)
