Connectors:    Standard BNC bayonet Connectors.

Data Encoding:    Manchester encoding. Conforms to

    IEEE standard 802.3.

Access Method:    Uses IEEE standard 802.3 CSMA/CD

    (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with

    Collision Detection) access method.

Network Interface Chip:    National Semiconductor DP8390C or DP8390D.

On-Board Buffer RAM:    Static RAM, either 16K bytes or 64K bytes

    (jumper selectable).

Software Protocol:    Compatible with IBM NetBIOS, and Invisible

    Software’s TransBIOS.

Termination Resistors:    External BNC-mounted 50-ohm cable

    terminators.

DMA:    Does not use DMA.

Interrupt Level:    Uses Interrupt Level 2, 3, 4, or 11

    (switch selectable).

ROM Addressing:    The ROM occupies either 16K bytes or

    32K bytes (jumper selectable).

    There are four selections for the ROM

    start address (switch selectable).

I/O Addressing:    The card occupies one of the following I/O

    address ranges (switch selectable): 300-31F or

    340-35F.

RAM Usage:    The card uses 24K of system RAM.

Error Detection:    Hardware checks for CRC errors, alignment

    errors, runt packets, and DMA errors. Software

    checks for check sum errors, length errors, and

    address errors.

Radio Frequency Emission:    Complies with FCC requirements for a Class A

    Computing device.
