Selection of the Database Folders

Before you use the program following initial installation, you must set up the directories (folders) that contained the pertinent data, such as the location of the database, the location of the data files, and the location of the calibration files. (As you can see from the screen capture above, the locations for the files has been deliberately deleted so you may see how they are filled. This program gives you the opportunity to do that. Since it is selectable from the main menu, you can always make changes depending on your needs.

Your computer must also have a file that can be downloaded from Mcrosoft.

Here is a link to the .NET 2.0 that must be installed on the Windows computer

A screen capture above shows the contents of the "HSS Datafile Folder." These files can be any place on your computer, but you need to know where they are. For this example we have placed all of the calibration files for Arkansas Nuclear One in a folder called "Calibration Data Files." We have copied all the whole body counting data files from one of their "WB1" folders. These three sets of files are contained within a folder called "My HSS Data." Thus, when we go to the next part of the setup program, you will see that we are obtaining all of these data from this one folder.

The screen capture above shows the choice of the data base file that must be entered into the first of the three positions.

The screen capture below shows the progress so far.

Now let us fill in the second row, the location of the data files that will be analyzed.

And finally, enter the location for the calbration files.

The setup work has been finished. You may now proceed to whatever option you wish to read.
