SUPPORT AND RESPONSE
PROGRAM


HSS offers a range of medical support and response programs that are customized to your needs. Training programs and drills also are available to complement your emergency planning and prepared- ness programs. Physicians are Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology and are available 24 hours a day in case of an emergency. Mobile whole body counting units are available.
Planning services include:
  • Hospital selection
  • Radiation treatment area selection
  • Procurement of supplies and equipment
  • Emergency, hospital and medical response plan preparation
    Training programs include:
  • Hospital training of nurses, physicians and allied health personnel
  • Plant training of all medical accident response personnel
  • Training of police, fire, ambulance, rescue and civil defense personnel
    Medical exercises include:
  • Lesson plan preparation
  • Scenario preparation
  • Actual drills
  • Situation mock-ups, accident mock-ups
  • Drill critiques (oral and written) and video taping
    Seminars for medical personnel also are available.
